Our Training Approach

Let’s Train Smarter

Every new client at Alpha Trainer receives a movement and fitness assessments to set your individual fitness starting point. Based on your results and your personal fitness goals, we identify which program is best suited for you, and provide workouts tailored to reach your personal fitness goals.

Progressive – Building Habits

As we progress with your training, you will be able to achieve higher volume, intensity and improved performances of all fitness abilities. Habits and knowledge will be learned as you we progress to advanced combinations and movements.

Fitness Abilities

We start from different fitness level, this is respected as we build towards your fitness goals. Through highly specific individualized programming and variable intensity, the goal of Alpha Trainer is to increase your work capacity and athletic performance to meet your health and fitness outcomes.

Functional Movements

The building blocks of our training programs is to establish properly progressed patterns of what are commonly referred to as “Functional Movements.” These include Walking & Running, Pushing & Pulling, Bending & Twisting and Squatting & Lunging.

Accountability – Food & Training Diary

As part of empowering you to being accountable, all PT clients receive a Food & Training Diary to help them record their success, build habits and further their knowledge in fitness, health & wellbeing

Group Training – Gym Fit & Outdoor Squad

Our indoor Gym Fit and Outdoor Squad group training is the ultimate workout combining cardio-boxing-toning into a Super HIIT session that is unparalleled. A breathtaking and varied workout to take you to the next level in fitness, a take no prisoners session that will make you feel pumped and wanting more!

All services must be paid for in full (2 weeks for PT, monthly for GT), prior to training. No casual or pay as you go payments. Payments are done by direct debit via Ezi-Debit and maybe put on hold with two weeks notice.

Group Training GT

Our indoor GT classes are a team based HIIT (high intensity interval training workout protocol). Each session has a specific focus and fun atmosphere rather than a tense competitive environment. Suitable for beginners to more experience athletes.

  • 13 sessions per week
  • GT45 – 45 minute group class
  • MetaFit – 30 minute HIIT express workout

Events Training

Are you considering running in event? It’s great to see that more and more people are putting themselves on the sport and attempting some of the country’s most grueling feats of fitness and athleticism. Unfortunately, most of us can’t just show up and put in a good show. Events like Tough Mudder, City 2 Surf, fun runs and marathons require a fair amount of training, and that’s where Alpha Trainer comes in. With experience in taking individuals and teams to these events, we are proud to offer long-distance and endurance training programs. It goes without saying that everyone has different strengths, weaknesses and levels of ability, so we’ll tailor a training program to your specific needs.

Cancellation Policy – Please read carefully

We thank you so much for choosing us to assist you on your quests towards your personal best.

First, we want to let you know that this policy is as important for you as it is for us. A strong cancellation policy keeps you accountable and ensures that you keep the commitment to yourself. The reality is that for most people, exercise is a ‘chore’. It becomes easy to skip a workout if you’re feeling a bit tired, stressed at work, or need to take care of some things at home. However, when clients know they will be charged for a session if they don’t show up, it forces them to prioritize their health and fitness.

This policy dramatically decreases no-shows, missed workouts, and short-notice cancellations. It is this type of consistency that ensures great results for our clients. We are the ones to make sure you do the things that sometimes you don’t really want to do but know you need to do!

Our Personal Trainer & Client Agreement:

I understand that Alpha Trainer Fitness Solutions operates on a scheduled appointment basis for all Personal & Group Training sessions and thus, requires that I provide 24 hours’ notice when canceling an appointment. No charge will be levied should I cancel with MORE than 24 hours’ notice given. Should I cancel a session with LESS than 24 hours’ prior notice, I will be charged in full for that session. I understand that Alpha Trainer Fitness Solutions recommends that all cancelled sessions be rescheduled to ensure consistency and fitness progress.
